Enter with me, see what I have seen, wake -
from this amber dream -SD

Welcome to my gallery. Here is a pictorial glimpse of some magic and moments in motion over a lifetime of dedication to poetry, my art and doing my best to make the world a better place in my own humble way.
If only I could tell my 8 year old self, that had difficulty comprehending and adjusting to life, the surrealistic dream he would live out with that voice.
We are all in this together, to add our voice and try to change things for the better.

To quote Tennyson here:

Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and tho’
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

With the legendary Dayanita Singh at Mudam in Luxembourg. A collaboration that would have been epic but alas life got in the way. One day perhaps..
Pondering the transient and ephemeral nature of our existence. (Tokyo)
The first ‘Poetry in Parliament’ with poets Kathleen Jamie, Alycia Pirmohamed, Jo Gilbert just days after returning from Cop27. Historic evening highlighting the importance of Climate Change. My poem for the University of Glasgow ‘No fresh soil to plant’ which marked the start of Cop26 in Glasgow was the catalyst for this event, Poetry is needed at every single level to hold accountable those who don’t enact change.
Trying to hold powers that be accountable with a new poem I read out. The panel also consisted of a minister from who went directly into the negotiations after the reading.
